Founded 2011 by brother and sister duo Carla & Delwyn Mooney, opened an animation arm in 2017. Cardel creates, develops and produces diverse animated content in 2D, 3D, Traditional and Stop Motion as well as NonFiction and Live Action Shorts, Features and Series. Creating original narratives from concept through to design, scriptwriting, storyboarding, production right through to post production handling funding and financing of projects.
Recent highlights - produced stop motion animation sequences on a feature documentary The Sparks Brothers dir. Edgar Wright, premiered at Sundance 2021. Produced with Media Rights Capital (House of Cards, Ozark) and Wright’s company Complete Fiction acquired by Focus Features.
Co-produced Cusp feature documentary in official competition at Sundance Film Festival 2021, won Jury Award for Best Emerging Filmmaker. Sales is being handled by Endeavor.
